Mentorship and consultancy projects

My portfolio of completed work reflects a deep commitment to transforming organisational potential into measurable success through high-impact, hands-on intervention.

These consultancy projects have ranged from revitalising commercial strategies and optimising sales reach to managing complex, time-sensitive operational tasks.

Each project is approached as a partnership, where I apply my insight to navigate market volatility and streamline internal processes.

Simultaneously, my mentorship initiatives have focused on empowering leadership teams and staff through targeted training, helping them move from purely operational roles to strategic, solution-oriented thinking.

The overall objectives is bridging the gap between ambitious vision and daily execution, ensuring that both the business framework and the people within it are built for long-term resilience and growth.

Optimand Business Intelligence

Optimand – Web Analytics and Business Intelligence

I collaborated closely with the owners of this exclusive ultra-luxury hotel, tackling the inherent complexities of low-volume, high-value sales where traditional marketing is prohibitive.

The core challenge was breaking the "owner-operator cycle" to free up critical time for business expansion. My engagement focused on creating a sustainable structure.

This strategic overhaul shifted the focus from working in the business to working on the business, enabling the owners to define a scalable and profitable path forward without the expense of continuous market testing.

Modernising an Established London Chauffeur Service

I engaged with the Founder and CEO of this long-established chauffeur provider to future-proof their operations and secure consistent growth within the highly competitive ultra-luxury transport market. Catering to high-value Corporate, Hospitality, and private account holders with an executive Mercedes fleet, the business required a strategic refresh. I provided a unbiased audit of their current business practices, identifying key areas for enhancement. The collaboration culminated in a tailored growth roadmap that integrated the adoption of new, efficient technology and a clear, focused marketing plan, enabling the service to adapt to modern demands while maintaining its decades-long reputation for executive excellence and reliability.

Strategic Growth in the Ultra-Luxury Segment

I collaborated closely with the owners of this exclusive ultra-luxury hotel, tackling the inherent complexities of low-volume, high-value sales where traditional marketing is prohibitive. The core challenge was breaking the "owner-operator cycle" to free up critical time for business expansion. My engagement focused on creating a sustainable structure. This strategic overhaul shifted the focus from working in the business to working on the business, enabling the owners to define a scalable and profitable path forward without the expense of continuous market testing.

Business challenges

- Marketing has been the biggest challenge in the business so far. As they operated in the ultra luxury space with only a handful of bookings every year it is difficult and expensive to test different pricing/marketing strategies.

- As owners and operators they found themselves in a constant chicken & egg situation. They needed more bookings to be able to afford staff but needed staff to free up their own time to spend on marketing/sales. Help to find a way to work on the business rather than in it - help to define a clearer action plan for marketing and sales - business planning for low volume high value sales

Expanding into the event segment

I partnered with this expanding hospitality business to overcome the limitations of extreme seasonality, transforming them from a summer-only establishment into a more resilient, year-round operation. The primary focus was two-fold: stabilising the workforce challenges inherent to seasonal staffing, and capitalising on the site's untapped potential. We developed a strategy to identify and implement new revenue streams, including designing and launching a robust events program for the off-peak months. By defining the necessary operational and structural steps, the business was empowered to scale effectively, mitigate seasonal dependence, and secure its position for continuous growth in a competitive market.

Business Challenges

They were a very seasonal business and had all the issues that come with seasonal staff but they felt they can get a lot more out of the site and have opportunities to run events etc that will make us less of a summer only establishment.

As the site is growing and they are becoming a much bigger business they need to make the steps to move forward or get left behind.

Business plan and growth strategy

I engaged with Scot Beers to transform her ambitious goals into actionable results. Our initial focus centred on solidifying the founder long-term vision by creating a detailed business plan and setting clear, measurable goals.

We then strategically designed a new core role that specifically allows the founder to leverage her strengths, moving her away from day-to-day operational tasks and enabling her to concentrate on strategic growth.

Our ongoing mentorship provides the crucial sounding board she needs to talk through complex decisions, ensuring the business develops rapidly and deliberately toward the objective of becoming a highly attractive acquisition target within her market.
